We here at James River Bar-B-Que have only one goal for this New Year of 2012 and that is to produce Championship Quality barbeque every time we fire up our smokers. We are on a quest not only to perfect our own skills and products, but to “invent’ Virginia style barbeque that is as unique to our area as is the barbecue found throughout the Carolina’s.
2011 was a successful year for us and along the way we began the process of making a name for ourselves. We take pride in what we do and we strive to make the best barbecue in Central Virginia. From our pulled pork to our ribs, from our brisket to our chicken and our sauces, it is our goal to make everything we do to be the absolute best.
Now, we have reached a time where we need to grow. The demand for our product is growing at a pace beyond our expectations and we need to expand our equipment and preparation facilities. While, at least at this point, we are not thinking about a restaurant, we are planning to compete more and we are planning to offer full scale catering services this year. Competing to us is like a training program. We get to hone our skills and receive feedback and suggestions from the best names in barbecue. We never want to stop learning our business. The more we learn, the better the barbecue will be for Central Virginia.
We need approximately $15,000 to purchase the smokers and other supplies that we will need for the year. We also must rent a an approved kitchen for the catering side of James River Bar-B-Que. This is where we are asking for your help.
We would like to partner with area business’s in a sponsorship agreement. We advertise your business, goods and / services on our website, cook sites and business cards. You, depending on the terms of your sponsorship, in return will receive a catered barbecue event for your employee’s, customers or for whomever or whatever reason you choose! Also, $ 1500.00 per sponsorship is the maximum exposure to you and or your company.
Individual sponsorships are available as well.

The sponsorship structure is as follows.

• (A) $100.00 to $250.00 gives you advertising space on our website including a link to your website or page, and banner space at our cook sites. We will wear clothing that displays your logo, (supplied by you) during our cooking events, and answer any questions about your company or products that are asked of us.
• (B) $251.00 to $500.00 gives you all of the above, plus a catered barbecue event for up to 30 people at your home or place of business. The menu is your choice and there are no restrictions.
• ( C) $501.00 to $1000.00 gives you everything in (A) plus a catered barbecue event at you home or business for up to 75 people. Again, there are no menu restrictions
• ( D) 1001.00 to $1500.00 gives you everything in (A) plus a catered barbecue event at your home or business for up to 125 people. As always there are no menu restrictions.

Individual sponsorships are capped at $150.00 and includes a barbecue picnic for up to 10 people per sponsorship.

Central Virginia, it is our goal to bring the best barbecue in the nation to the Old Dominion, we are asking for your help to achieve that goal!
